Vitamin B12 Deficiency Testing

How is B12 deficiency anemia treated?

It is usually treated by the intake of Vitamin B12 supplements. Vitamin B12 benefits via supplements would include more production of red blood cells by the body and the non-occurrence of the deficiency symptoms. However, some people are required to take B12 supplements for their entire life in order to avoid recurrence of their condition most especially when the underlying cause of the said condition is poor Vitamin B12 absorption.
